These Terms & Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Career with Emma, including courses, downloads, coaching, talks, communities, memberships, and events. By using our website or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Company Details
Career with Emma is a brand of Emma Stoks, established in the Netherlands.

2. Scope
These terms apply to every agreement between Emma Stoks and the customer (hereafter: “you”), whether you purchase a course, coaching session, lecture, or other service.
3. Services
We offer:
Online courses and digital learning products
Coaching (online or in-person)
Lectures, workshops, and speaking engagements
Communities and memberships
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time; new prices apply only to future purchases.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
A. Digital courses and products
 Digital products are non-refundable. By purchasing, you waive your right of withdrawal once access begins, in line with EU consumer law.
B. Coaching
 You may reschedule a coaching session if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Missed or late-cancelled sessions are non-refundable.
C. Lectures, events, or memberships
 Refund and cancellation terms vary depending on the format or agreement. These will be clearly stated when booking. Unless specified otherwise, memberships and community subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
6. Use of Content
All materials—including course content, templates, presentations, videos, and documents—are the intellectual property of Emma Stoks.
You may not copy, share, publish, or reuse materials outside your own learning without prior written permission.
7. Delivery and Access
Digital products are delivered via the learning platform (e.g. Thinkific or similar) or email. You are responsible for providing the correct information and maintaining your access credentials.
For live services (coaching, talks), you are responsible for being available at the agreed time. Delays or missed sessions due to incorrect or missing information do not entitle you to a refund.
“Lifetime access” to courses means access for the lifetime of the course or platform, not your personal lifetime. As long as Career with Emma operates and the course remains available, you’ll retain access. If the platform changes or is retired, we’ll provide reasonable notice.
8. Technical Issues
We aim to ensure stable access to our services, but technical disruptions may occur (e.g. platform outages). We will resolve issues promptly or offer reasonable alternatives when needed.
9. Liability and Guarantees
Our services are delivered with care and professionalism, but no specific outcomes are guaranteed. Your progress depends on your own effort, context, and follow-through.
We are not liable for indirect damages, including missed opportunities, lost revenue, or system outages.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g. illness, outages, natural disasters), we may postpone, modify, or cancel services. Refunds are not issued in such cases, but we will aim to offer reasonable solutions.
11. Complaints
If you’re not satisfied, please email emma@careerwithemma.com. We aim to respond within 7 working days and will always try to resolve the issue fairly.
12. Data & Privacy
Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in the Netherlands.
